SEMINARY CLASSES FOR OUR SPRING TERM (03/10 – 05/18)

Did you know that seminary classes are held three nights a week at the Annex?  In addition to students meeting in the classroom, students are also participating in the same class via Zoom. This means if you cannot make it to the Annex due to traffic, distance, unexpected matters at home, or even if you’re away on a business trip, you can still make it to class.

Whether you want to audit a class or pursue a specific program, the next steps are on this page. Metro Atlanta Seminary offers so many opportunities to grow in your knowledge of the faith, for more information on our programs, follow this link https://metroatlantaseminary.org/degree-programs/

We don’t want to brag, but our alumni include Jeff Norris, Eric Ryan, Ryan Carson, Davon Stack, David McNeely, Emilio Hood and Kelly Ward, just to name a few.  And our faculty includes Dr Randy Schlichting, Dr Bob Carter, Dr Tom Lutz, Dr McKay Caston, Dr Dennis Bennett, Dr Paul Cable, Dr Jimmy Agan, Dr. Mike Rasmussen, Dr. Glenn Dire, Dr. Bob Jolly and Dr Robbie Sherrill.

General Perimeter Member Procedures

Do you want to pursue a program, or just audit a course? Let’s talk about auditing first. As an auditor, you will be in the class and have access to all the material, but you are not required to do homework or keep up with the reading. The Audit Fee is $80 per credit hour. There is no application fee and the application does not take long. To get started, follow the link to the application page, then on the pulldown menu select the “MAS Application for Auditing Classes”.  https://metroatlantaseminary.populiweb.com/router/admissions/onlineapplications/index?application_form

Not sure what program you want to pursue, but you know you want to start taking classes? The Certificate in Christian Studies program requires you to complete the first year courses. These courses are required for all the Bachelor and Master degree programs.  If you are hesitant, we’d suggest you start with the Certificate program of study. We have students that change to a degree program after their first term. They’re hooked!

To start this process, go to the same application page as auditors (above), but this time select “MAS General Application”. This application is a little longer, but you will receive a link so that you can go back and finish later. There is also a $50 application fee for this option. Tuition is $180 per credit hour. Financial Aid is available for those who qualify. https://metroatlantaseminary.populiweb.com/router/admissions/onlineapplications/index?application_form

Discipleship Groups, Bible Study Leaders, and Members

Consider doing a group project. For example, your group might agree to meet and watch classes together, and depending on the time of the class, you could also break bread before or after your meeting. Or perhaps your group might consider utilizing a course as the major study piece for a term, with each member watching from his or her home, and then discussing what was learned and discovered during the group’s regular meeting time.

For Perimeter groups taking classes by Zoom only, we will provide a 15% discount on tuition (not audit fees). Once your group decides to move forward, send an email to Joe White with the list of the members that will be participating, and the class you wish to register for in the upcoming term. Once we confirm there is room for your group, your members will then be able to complete their application (Audit or General) and register. You can email Joe at:  joew@metroatlantaseminary.org

Questions? Please email Joe White or Randy Schlichting.
