Join Metro Atlanta Seminary this Summer for an 8 week class on “Intimacy with God”.
This course helps students deepen their personal relationship with God through a practical and Scripture-centered study of prayer. Drawing from key biblical prayers (such as Colossians, Ephesians, and Philippians), it explores the nature, components, and promises of prayer, along with common hindrances. Students will learn how prayer is modeled throughout Scripture, especially in the New Testament, and will be equipped with practical tools – including praying Scripture and helpful frameworks – to strengthen their prayer life. The course also addresses seeking God in seasons of trial, praying for others and for healing, and growing in love for Christ through all circumstances. Through both teaching and guided practice, students will be equipped to cultivate a consistent, vibrant prayer life and a deeper walk with Jesus. Up to 24 practicum hours are available as part of this course for applied learning.
