Perhaps you live or work in the area, but with traffic you could never make it to the North Campus in time for class. Perhaps you even live in another state. No Problem!
We designed the Certificate in Christian Studies and the Master of Arts in Theological Studies (MATS) just for you! The Certificate program can be completed in one year but if your schedule is limited, make it two. The MATS includes selected courses from our Master of Divinity program so it will take three years to capture the needed courses.
Starting in August 2024 all of our courses with the exception of the languages will be taught in a hybrid setting. That means students will be in the classroom and online via Zoom.
The courses for the Certificate are taught by the Metro Atlanta Seminary faculty, they are the same courses taken in the first year of our Master programs. In fact, when you have finished the Certificate program and you decide you want to keep going, just keep going!
“The Certificate in Christian Studies provides a well rounded curriculum for leaders in the church. It is a great opportunity and contains great content for ruling elders and deacons as well as others in full or part time ministry in the church. The Master of Arts in Theological Studies via the hybrid classes allows individuals involved in Christian Education the opportunity to earn this graduate degree from home.
